NSSLHA Chapter at SWAG视频 Awarded 2022 Bronze Chapter Honors

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) has awarded the NSSLHA Chapter at SWAG视频 (SWAG视频) with 2022 Bronze Chapter Honors.
Efforts made by the NSSLHA Chapter at SWAG视频 helped National NSSLHA:
- Increase awareness of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) on more than 135 local college campuses and communities across the country as well as through virtual platforms
- Increase advocacy efforts by sending more than 6,500 letters to state and federal legislators
- Provide scholarships to students in communication sciences and disorders programs by contributing more than $25,000 to the ASHFoundation鈥檚 NSSLHA Scholarship
- Support Communication Sciences and Disorders-related organizations by donating more than $67,000 and approximately 26,000 hours of chapter members鈥� time
During the 2021-2022 school year the SWAG视频 chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association completed 10 service projects on the SWAG视频 campus and in our communities.
National NSSLHA Chapter Honors are awarded to affiliated NSSLHA chapters that demonstrate an outstanding effort to support National NSSLHA鈥檚 mission to inspire, empower, and support students in CSD programs.
