Spring 2023 Philosophy and Religion Online Forum Schedule Concludes April 3 with Presentation by Gayle Rubin

The Philosophy and Religion Online Forum Series at SWAG视频 (SWAG视频) will conclude its spring 2023 lineup
of programming with Dr. Gayle S. Rubin, who will present 鈥淎 Short History of Perversion:
Taxonomies of Sexual Misconduct 1880-1980.鈥� Monday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration

Dr. Rubin is a University of Michigan associate professor of anthropology and women鈥檚 studies. She is the author of a series of groundbreaking articles on the politics of sex and gender (collected in Deviations, 2012) and an anthropological study of gay leathermen in San Francisco (entitled Valley of the Kings, forthcoming). Her teaching includes classes on 鈥淪ex Panics,鈥� 鈥淪ex and the City,鈥� and graduate seminars such as 鈥淪exological Theories: From Krafft-Ebbing to Foucault鈥� and 鈥淭he Feminist Sex Wars.鈥�
