STEMontheGO

STEMontheGO is a new Center program to help SWAG视频 faculty illustrate and communicate their research findings by building mobile 'go kits' to bring to K-12 schools, Black and Gold Day,
public events, and more as part of a larger $1.5 million U.S. Department of Education award to expand the Center鈥檚 STEM ecosystem.

Additionally, the program proposes to build 'STEM trails' in Hattiesburg and along the Coast, with fun, family-friendly exhibits that feature the research done at the university.

STEMontheGO will improve SWAG视频鈥檚 science communication, bringing the cutting-edge work of our professors to a broader audience via hands-on demonstrations, making the research more engaging and consumable for the public.

"STEMontheGO will expand teaching and learning beyond our university labs and classrooms into our communities in both Hattiesburg and on the Coast. We are excited about the new
opportunities for Mississippi kids and families."

                                                                             -Dr. Julie Cwikla, Center Director
